Dental care in the United States is delivered mostly by private practices: a general or family dentist who handles exams, cleanings, fillings and crowns, and refers out anything that needs a specialist. Group practices and dental clinics put several dentists, hygienists and sometimes specialists under one roof, often with evening and Saturday hours. Most offices ask new patients for a comprehensive exam with X-rays before routine cleanings, which the American Dental Association recommends every six months. Prices are set by each practice, and most accept dental insurance (PPO plans more widely than HMO ones), CareCredit-style financing or an in-house membership plan for people without coverage. Emergency dental services take same-day patients for toothaches, broken teeth and abscesses, usually at a premium.
Hours are published for 5 days a week. On most of those days it is open 8 am–6:30 pm. It is closed on Saturday, Sunday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (616) 235-7272. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. More information is available on its website, cherryhealth.org.
Its Google rating stands at 3.0 out of 5 from 73 reviews, which is below average for the category; consider the recent reviews carefully before visiting.
Grand Rapids is in Michigan, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Grand Rapids follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Another great visit to Cherry health dental for a broken tooth extraction not the greatest circumstances but once again they were very kind and helpful. Mrs. T is Great, very kind and makes you feel comfortable if you don’t like being at the dentist and I cannot remember the dentist name but he was excellent. Couldn’t even feel his Novacaine needles going in popped that old tooth out in about a minute and a half Was absolutely wonderful couldn’t ask for a better job , dentist or experience there he is an absolute master of his craft. Thank you again.!!

When I was 5 I was strapped to a papoose board and had my teeth ripped out without anasthesia. I now suffer from SEVERE dental PTSD and have had multiple panic attacks in the past 24 hours after a root canal at a different practice and have to be placed under STRONG anxiety meds whenever I go to a dentist. I’m only 16, I shouldn’t need to deal with that.
Snarky Review a year ago
Pretty rude staff all things considered. Worked in a hospital with more foot traffic than they had and was not nearly as rude. Anything you read that's higher than one star is most likely a bot review or someone who was given the red carpet. Don't say you are walk in emergencies if your staff won't even stay an extra 10 minutes to help you. One hour drive there. Brought back only to be told "We'll get to you." And wait an extra 2 hours while being in pain and sleep deprived. I finally just went home and I'm going to find literally anywhere else.

The doctors and nurses here are very friendly and do good work, but this company has GOT to fix their ridiculous administrative system. You usually have to leave a voicemail during business hours because the desk staff isn’t answering the phone, and if you call specifically to leave a voicemail after business hours, the system just hangs up on you. And if you miss your callback, it all just starts over again, so good luck getting anything done if you can’t just go in person on a lark when you need something.

If I can give no stars I would. Worst service I ever experienced. They are very unprofessional and that male Dentist is incompetent. For your health and safety. Please seek dental assistance elsewhere. Dentist never even supplied me antibiotics after pulling my teeth out. I ended up in the emergency room. And was given the necessary after care at spectrum health emergency. When I complained about their incompetence. The dentist make excuses to not treat me again, by lying saying that I had no insurance. Obviously that was a lie. I have Medicaid and Medicare. Been going there longer then he worked there. He even tried to reach at me to remove me as I was showing proof of my insurance. I had to tell him to not touch me. I canceled all future appointments. And sought future dental care with a more professional competent and experienced medical office.
